How long have you been in business?

Bill Rettberg has been in the business of capturing memories for over 50 years. With this much experience you can be sure that you are getting a great photographer!

How many pictures do you take?

During an average full coverage wedding ( 7 - 8 hours ) we may shoot anywhere from 275 - 375 pictures. For larger weddings we may shoot 400+. The number of pictures usually depends on the size of the wedding party, the number of guests and the liveliness of the reception.

How long do I have to wait for my proofs?

We typically tell couples 1 - 2 weeks before you see your proofs. Often times we have them ready for you within the 1st week after your wedding. When you pick up your proofs, you are free to take them home for 1 month to make your selections. After that it will take us about 6 weeks to get your completed Bridal Album order to you.

Do we get to keep the proofs or digital files?

We do not give you the proofs or digital files unless they are included in your contract package. If they are not, you have the option to purchase them after your 1 year anniversary. We do keep your photos on file in case you would want to purchase any additional prints.

What is included in the photographers time for the day?

For a full coverage wedding, the photographer usually arrives wherever the bride is dressing about 1 1/2 hours before the ceremony to take some preparation, family and bridal party photos. He will then follow you to the ceremony location after which he will take about 20 minutes of formals. After the formals at the ceremony location, he will go with you to the reception where he will stay until his contracted time is over. If your day does not follow this timeline or if you have special request, we will do our best to accommodate them.

What is your style?

Our style is a combination of traditional and candid photography. we try to capture things as they happen but we also have an obligation to take some traditional formal photos of the people at your wedding who are important to you. Again, if your style is more one than the other, we will adapt to suite your taste.

What is your price range and what do your packages include?

Our packages prices range from $950 - $3650 and include everything from your engagement photo to your first anniversary portrait.

Can you customize a package for me?

Yes, after you visit with us, if you do not see a package that suites your needs, budget or taste, just let us know and we may be able to come up with something special for you.

Can I give you a list of requested photos?

Absolutely! If you have specific photos that you want taken, please give us a list prior to the wedding. During the commotion of the day it is easy to forget that one pose you saw in a magazine and wanted to try or that picture you wanted with a family member from out of town. Better safe then sorry!

Who will design my album and can I OK the designs before it is printed?

Your album will be designed by our staff, in our studio after meeting with you to find out exactly what you want and don't want to see. When the design is complete, you are more then welcome to schedule an appointment to come in and view your album or to suggest changes before it is printed.

what is your payment schedule?

For full coverage weddings, we require $600 with your contract, $600 ten days before your wedding, $600 when you pick up your proofs and any balance will be due when you pick up your completed order.
